- December 24, 2010 - Christmas at the Nuevo Vallarta Grand Mayan - a Grand Master Suite
- February 18, 2010 - Valentine's Follow Up at a Nuevo Grand Luxxe Villa
Please note: the weeks start on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays and end seven days later - great for flight reservations!
As for pricing, we take the average asking price on Redweek and TUG to determine a fair price. However, more important than price you are using our weeks. Consequently, we can deal directly with the resort to resolve issues that arise and make changes if need be. Flexibility, fairness and confidence are the attributes we strive to achieve.
The Grand Mayans at San Jose del Cabo and Riviera Maya are two beautiful resorts. Click here for information about San Jose del Cabo and click here for information about the Riviera Maya Grand Mayan Resort.
The contact information is http://firstname.lastname@example.org. We moved our family outing to Thanksgiving Week, so we are not able to use all of our allocation during 2010 Christmas Week.
After many years of spending Christmas at Nuevo Vallarta, we can heartily recommend doing it at least once. Although we are not travel agents, we have made arrangements for families and group travel with friends and families. Our first visit included all five of us. Now, at Thanksgiving, there will be 19 of us. Making arrangements for ourselves has given us great insight to the issues of traveling with families and friends.
We offer weeks at Grupo Vidanta (Grupo Mayan) Resorts, and they float each year. Reservations are in our name and transferred to you. The weeks we rent are our own.
All we need is enough time to put all the accommodations together. Our goal is to provide high quality vacation spots for groups traveling together to enjoy.
Grupo Vidanta / Grupo Mayan resorts include the Grand Mayan, the Mayan Palace and the Sea Garden, located in 7 cities throughout Mexico.
Although we are most familiar with the Nuevo Vallarta resorts, we have received great reviews from our guests who have stayed at the Riviera Maya Grand Mayan Resort and the Nuevo Vallarta Grand Mayan Resort. Also, one of our website visitors provided us with a glowing review of the San Jose del Cabo Grand Mayan Resort. Finally, Tripadvisor.com, Redweek.com, the Timeshare User's Group and other web sites provide reviews of the various Grupo Vidanta / Grupo Mayan resorts in all 7 cities. Why rent from us? Because we offer an efficient way to obtain accommodations for families, friends and groups traveling together.
Grupo Vidanta \ Grupo Mayan Resorts:
The Grand Mayan Resorts
are located in Acapulco, Nuevo Vallarta,
Riviera Maya (near Playa del Carmen) and San Jose del Cabo (near Cabo San Lucas). This offering is larger still than
the Mayan Palace and offers even grander facilities. Many visitors
prefer the spacious rooms of the Grand Mayan to the large rooms offered
by the Mayan Palace. Also, the Grand Mayan pool facilities and other
amenities are larger and more accommodating than the other brands
offered by Grupo Vidanta / Grupo Mayan Resorts. The accommodations
configuration is similar to the Mayan Palace in that the room does not
have a kitchenette, the one bedroom unit does have a kitchenette and the
combination of a lock off suite with a one bedroom unit creates a two
bedroom unit. Since there is a pecking order, the owners of the Grand
Mayan units have the ability to use all facilities on the property,
where as the Mayan Palace owners can use the Mayan Palace and Sea Garden
The Sea Garden is one of the original formats developed by Grupo Mayan and was to be a boutique hotel. These are smaller properties located on beaches in Nuevo Vallarta, Acapulco and Mazatlan. The Nuevo Vallarta Sea Garden is a clean, cozy and quiet hotel located at one end of a beach that extends south to the southern most part of the Grupo Mayan properties. The pool area is large and quiet and steps from the beach. A restaurant is located on the property, which is reasonably priced and offers very good food. The accommodations are made up of hotel like rooms (with no kitchen facilities) and 1 bedroom units with kitchen facilities. The bus to Puerto Vallarta is just outside the perimeter of the property. This is the least expensive of the three brands.
The next newest brand is the Mayan Palace, with locations in Acapulco, Mazatlan, Nuevo Vallarta, Puerto Penasco, Puerto Vallarta, and Riviera Maya. According to the information located at www.mayanresorts.info, the Mayan Palace was created in 1992 to become a revolutionary concept of five-star plus resort. The Mayan Palace combines the excellent service and extensive amenities of a five-star hotel with the concept of vacation ownership. The accommodations consist of suites, which do not have kitchenettes, one bedroom units, which do have kitchenettes and two bedroom units, which combine a connected lock off suite with a one bedroom unit. The Mayan Palace offers larger facilities and pool areas, more restaurants, golf, health spas and many other amenities. Some visitors prefer staying in Puerto Vallarta for closer access to the central area of Puerto Vallarta. Others prefer to be closer to the beach, which is offered at the other locations.
The Grand Mayan is the most recent offering and is located in Acapulco, Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Maya and San Jose del Cabo. This offering is larger still than the Mayan Palace and offers even grander facilities. Many visitors prefer the spacious rooms of the Grand Mayan to the large rooms offered by the Mayan Palace. Also, the Grand Mayan pool facilities and other amenities are larger and more accommodating than the other brands offered by Grupo Vidanta / Grupo Mayan Resorts. The accommodations configuration is similar to the Mayan Palace in that the room does not have a kitchenette, the one bedroom unit does have a kitchenette and the combination of a lock off suite with a one bedroom unit creates a two bedroom unit. Since there is a pecking order, the owners of the Grand Mayan units have the ability to use all facilities on the property, where as the Mayan Palace owners can use the Mayan Palace and Sea Garden facilities.
All three brands are great alternatives and provide flexible vacationing opportunities.
Our rates are reasonable and vary with the season.
Payment is by US Postal Money Orders or wire transfers for the exact amount of the rent plus a $10 wire fee that we are charged.
If you would like to learn more, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com. We can do our best if you can provide first, second and third choices for travel dates and resort preference.
